About

We are working to integrate the deaf in society and raise their level of cultural, health, religious and scientific and help them in providing job opportunities in cooperation and coordination with the relevant government agencies. The association was announced in the Official Gazette on 7/7/2007 under registration number: 6 / c / ag. The founding members are 50 persons of both sexes, half of whom are Deaf. The Board of Directors consists of nine members who were elected on 7/30/2007. Three are deaf. A new council was elected in October 2009, where the representation of deaf people was increased to four equally between the sexes, as recommended by the previous Board of Directors and with approval from the General Assembly. The association has 243 members, including 135 males and 108 females.
